Now is the time for the Election Chairs to connect with their Independent Election Administrators and to get in sync on the details of the upcoming Neighborhood Council election.
Election Chairs should confirm the bylaws, the map(s), the stip sheet, and be able to verify the number of seats up for election, documentation or self-affirmation, online voting or at-poll, the polling location, the budget for outreach and operations, and have a plan for enlisting volunteers and engaging community partners.
Election Chairs should also be ready to report at each Neighborhood Council Board Meeting so that all Boardmembers and Stakeholders are well-informed and that all members of the Board are in agreement on the specifics of the election.
