Erick Muñoz is the Commission Executive Assistant II at EmpowerLA. His primary role is to support the Board of Neighborhood Commissioners (BONC) before, during, and after commission and ad hoc meetings, as well as BONC events. Erick also provides technical, administrative, and informational assistance to all EmpowerLA divisions. He specializes in event planning and management, database maintenance, and data visualization. Additionally, Erick supervises the EmpowerLA Front Desk Team on regular duties and special projects.
Prior to his role at EmpowerLA, Erick worked as a Secretary for the Los Angeles Police Department’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Group where he supported a wide range of projects promoting DEI in the workplace.
Erick loves learning new things, no matter what the subject is.
