Prabhjot Chamber is a Neighborhood Empowerment Advocate (NEA) tasked with supporting Neighborhood Council Boards with capacity building, training, and organizing skills that empower board members and engage the community. Currently, Prabhjot supports the Arroyo Seco, Arts District Little Tokyo, East Hollywood, Greater Cypress Park, Greater Wilshire, Hollywood United, LA 32, Lincoln Heights, Los Feliz, Olympic Park, and PICO Neighborhood Councils. She leads EmpowerLA’s Homelessness Liaisons initiative.

Previously, Prabhjot worked in the nonprofit sector promoting tobacco control and prevention policy campaigning, and in the private sector in healthcare consulting.

Prabhjot attended the University of California, Riverside and received her bachelors’ degree in political science and master’s degree in public policy. She enjoys cooking different cuisines, playing volleyball and I love all animals, especially dogs.
